About Carlos Vieira
Since I was a kid I love to draw.
As a teenager, I participated for the first time in a contest in which my art work was ranked eighth among over a hundred participants. For me it did cause immense joy.
At 17 I discovered the art of photography and I was delighted.
When I had to choose a profession, never even crossed my mind to be a photographer and I did not believe that working as a artist could be my livelihood, so I decided to study architecture.
But ...
My family was poor and could not afford a college and contention for a spot in the free federal university was absurd, yet tried for 2 years without success.
In this period, for my livelihood and as I also liked mathematics and logic, I started working with computers and made it up to my retirement .
I had little time to devote to drawing and painting, but on several trips I had the opportunity to take lots of pictures, however most of them on paper, are stained, scratched or discolored. Fortunately, thanks to computers, nowadays it is possible for me to make them come back to life, at least part of them and perpetuate the souls that each of the other pictures have.
I dare not call myself artist, but a lover of drawing, painting and photography.
I hope I have some work that is worthy of the honor of beautifying some part of your life.
Thank you very much for your precious time!
